Old people, do we need em? Euthanasia, yes or no and should it be made legal?

I say, and even maybe Simon Cowell would say,, 3 resounding yes's and, judging by his judging I think when he becomes Prime Minister he would change the law to make it OK to shoot them the moment they annoy us. But, hold on a minute, old people have lots to offer. They can teach us how to moan in later life about absolutely everything.

My mum made the most beautiful dinner last night, she is old school, not old, well she is 66 going on 40, she decorates her own home, she cooks all her own food, no ding meals in her house. I don't think she has ever used custard out of a can, everything freshly made how it used to be by a Mum who is like Mum's used to be, and yet, nothing she ever makes is right. On last nights menu was home made mince and onion pie with mash (Not smash) and fresh garden peas (that she grew in her garden) for dessert a choice of Bakewell tart, should have been called Bakedbloodyfantasticallywell tart, or Rhubarb and apple pie both made by her fair hands with cream, custard or ice cream, all perfect, delicious, what did he say? 'The carrots were hard in the pie'

Now he is 86 and he needs shooting never mind euthanasia, that would be too kind. It is often the case that the older people get the more annoying they become, or is it our patience deteriorates at the same time?

I strongly believe that euthanasia is a kind alternative not just for the suffering old codger but also for us poor sufferers of what i call 'Fed up of listening to their whinging'. For the love of all that is sacred in this world get a life, or even better, death, it's the kind option, the humane opportunity for all concerned.

Seriously, it is something worth considering, but what we don't want is some Australian coming over here with his forceful happy everything is OK with the world Aussie style telling us how to do it, no it's not a G'day, my gran is ill, yes she does deserve to die a peaceful dignified death so don't come over here with your excited Steve Irwin impression. I will decide how my Grandma dies, actually I can't, unless we go to Switzerland or the Netherlands. Come to think of it, take her to Amsterdam and let her get stoned, maybe then she wont be arsed to moan moan bloody moan.

Below are a few different points of view from twitterers, enjoy and leave your comments below. R.I.P.

LucasBlack says 'Yes we need them. Without them we learn nothing and keep making the same mistakes over and over. Tricky. In a way we already do it. If a person is on the way out, life support is turned off. Euthanasia is in the timing.'

PassinTime says ' Yes I agree, for such as cancer & degenerative terminal & untreatable illnesses. But we need old folk, how else will we feel lucky when they tell us they only got an orange for xmas lol'

Firequacker 'I agree with it, when my time comes I am going to switzerland.'
