I hope after the performance of Simon this weekend that everyone with a telephone does the decent thing and DOES NOT vote for any act, or to put it more accurately, DO NOT add another penny into the fortune accumulated to a large extent by our premium rate voting.
Over 13 million people voted last night at 35 pence a call, OK I understand not all of that goes into his pocket and before last night didn't begrudge him 1p of it.
I am surprised he can sit up straight let alone hold his head up this morning after revealing just how spineless he is. Yes I hear your thoughts as you read this 'Well the voters got their monies worth'. Yes I agree that those that spend their pennies deserve for their choice to go through to the next round, however, maybe it's time to put all this into some kind of perspective.
This is a singing competition, not a talent competition, there is a difference. That decision last night was as ridiculous as giving first place in a dance competition to a Greek Father and Son from London while Michael Flatley trails behind in second. I really feel for Lucy, she will be forever known as the girl who got beaten by a duo that have less singing talent than Milli Vanilli and even less dancing ability than the Stavros combo.
I have defended Simon Cowells viscous tongue on numerous occasions in heated conversations with my family and friends, but I'm afraid I have no defence for hypocrisy. No one has been more outspoken about 'Jedward' (How I hate even putting them in the same tabloid 'Clever' abbreviated name creating category as Bradjolena) than any other judge, Coward has been preaching from show one about how they do not belong in the competition as it is (In his words) a 'Singing' competition. He assured us Sunday night as he had done last week also when he announced that he would be judging the 2 acts in the 'Sing off' on their performance tonight. Well just as Rachel found out the previous week his words mean nothing and will in future fall on deaf ears, as he clearly suffers from judging by his decision on letting the voters decide to allow Lloyd to go through even though his voice had gone (For the second time in the competition). It was not fair when you are given the chance to make what should be an experienced, qualified decision to make the RIGHT decision based on the rules laid out by Coward himself.
Britain this is your chance to vote for justice, DO NOT vote next week at all and lets all 13 million of us give our 35p to hospitals, service men's widows, the children that deserve a better future and do not give Cowell another penny of your limited funds.
I will be pleased to set up a legitimate donation page for this cause which we shall name 'The heroes not Cowards foundation'
