Alex Reid, 007? not yet, but 001 is number 1

I don't think Alex Reid will ever become a top class actor, but then again that is exactly why he won Celebrity Big Brother.

Vinnie on the other hand was an actor, however, after his latest performance in 'Gone in 27 days' was a massive flop and early reviews suggest directors wont be bashing down his Hollywood door. To think he turned down the part of Rambo because they only offered him 200,000 for 3 months work, 'Stallone was getting 10 million for it'. Well he did write it Vinnie, I bet you wish you had learned to write when you were at school now don't you.

Before we found out who the winner was BB played 'My way' through the speakers and the 5 remaining HM's said a tearful farewell and spoke frankly about what they had got out of the whole experience. Alex explained how he had wanted to change peoples opinions about him and turn the boos into cheers by just being himself. Stephanie told how she went in a 'Stuck up cow' and came out a better person, to be honest I actually had a few tears in my eyes also. I have lived the whole experience with them, or as much as coverage allowed. In a funny way I think I am one of the few people in the country that actually experienced BB for the first time. I'm sure even the majority of the house mates had seen the show before.

I don't think I was surprised when Stephanie was the next to be evicted, she left with dignity and made the most glamorous of exits, she had enjoyed the whole experience, it was like 'The best holiday she had ever been on'. No phones, no control, just did as she was told, got pampered and even allowed a little of her class to rub off onto Nicola. She may not of turned her into a lady yet but she promised it was a 'Work in progress'.

I think we all knew, but more importantly, who we wanted, the last 3 to be. Dane, Alex and Jonas. OK so 2 out of 3 is not bad, Vinnie survived one vote longer than I expected after the last few days of newspaper and TV talk, it seemed the nation had picked up the 'Pay back Vinnie time baton' and run with it. The British public had turned and when they turn, they turn. We showed what a nation of swingers we are when we all changed our opinions on the bad guy and sided with the underdog. I hadn't voted at all until tonight, but out of my duty to do the decent thing I picked up my phone and voted for Alex. The funny thing is the spark was provided by the man that was trying to destroy him from the beginning, Vinnie Jones. He said to Alex how he could 'Easily leave 500,000 votes in the ash tray of his Range rover and still have more votes than Alex'. Well Vinnie, there are millions of people that would pay another 50p to watch you sifting through your ash tray for them. Give Vinnie his due though, as Jimmy Carr so accurately pointed out 'He is consistent, he always acts shit, in shit films'.

The person that surprised me most when he got his marching orders was Jonas, he seemed to turn into a bit of a knob really, some of it embarrassment maybe?

So we were down to the final duo, the correct duo, Dane had lost his Daddy, his partner in crime and I think he was very surprised when he realised it was only he and Alex left in the house. I believe that is the first time in over 2 weeks where he had thought 'I might not win this'. His relationship with Vinnie demolished his chances of being crowned king. He believed their own 'A Team' hype, as it turned out the right A team won, team Alex.

There were many highlights from the 27 days of CBB and I asked twitterers to offer their favourites. A lot of you enjoyed the tree of temptation and I think if there had of been a number to vote for him he would of come 2nd for sure. His telling Alex to 'Kick shit out of the snowman was very popular chosen by @ComedyQueen and also his conversation with Nicola, telling her she looked like Bruce Forsyth and she was a bit fick. The cake fiasco in the diary room was a stroke of genius by the BB team and one thing that went largely unnoticed was when Dane had to pretend he was having a nightmare in the middle of the night, that was great TV. When I say unnoticed I mean Alex's reaction to it rather than the nightmare itself. He went straight into 'Boxing on guard mode' and was ready to defend his territory and his friends. Another highlight and moment of TV gold which will go down in BB history is the moment Davina realised one of her lifetime dreams and became a HM. 'Yo Katie, I did it' So after all the fake tan, the stripping off, the training and surviving the ridiculing from Vinnie and Mini Vinnie, 65% of the public used their vote for honesty and above all Gentlemanly conduct. He proved you can still be a man and show your sensitive side, he also showed us that being the brightest isn't as important as being the nicest. If you would like to see the first private interview from Alex Emma Willis grabbed him for a chat before his appearance on CBBBM and he had rather a nice looking woman sitting on his lap also.

All attention switched to CBBBM and all the housemates were there with the exception of Heidi who had a few birds to see to herself. Ivana was as classy as always and said she would be writing a book on her experience in the house. Stephanie was off on holiday, Nicola has the intention of opening a spot bursting clinic and to do more work for charity, Stephen will be raising money for 'Help for heroes', Jonas will be Alex's support act after Alex has finished filming in India, Dane wants to write a cook book but isn't too keen on singing again but after getting his confidence back said he might be persuaded, maybe the worlds first 'Sung cookery book' is on the cards? Sisqo will release a new album with his bro's Dru hill and And Sov wants to go to the toilet. As for Vinnie, he told Davina that he starts work in New Orleans on Tuesday, Probably hod carrying on the rebuilding project after the hurricane.

Big Brother, for what we received we are truly thankful.

The final word of the final series goes to God himself Mr Stephen Baldwin. He spoke some scaringly accurate Prophetic words when he told Alex 'You are in for a life changing experience'. Who's crazy now?
